At Van Made, we devise smart automation solutions that make production easier at our customers. Think complete packing lines, palletisers or handling modules. And it all starts with a good design. That is why we are looking for a mechanical engineer who likes to build technology that does what it is supposed to do - without fuss.

What you will do.
As a mechanical engineer, you will design machines and modules that we build and install ourselves. You work from initial concept to final model and regularly consult with workshop, software engineers and project engineers. Everything under one roof. This way, you know for sure that your design will actually be built the way you came up with it.

• Designing customer-specific solutions in SolidWorks

• Thinking along in technical feasibility and optimisation

• Collaborate with engineering, workshop and project managers

• Supervising delivery and sometimes testing/installing on site yourself

• Collaborate on smart solutions that make production smarter, faster and lighter

What we ask of you.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering or mechatronics

• You have experience with 3D drawing (we work with SolidWorks)

• You think solution-oriented and practical

• You like technology, but also just doing it

• You like working in an environment where everything moves quickly and everyone is directly approachable
