At Van Made, we devise smart automation solutions that make production easier at our customers. Think complete packing lines, palletisers or handling modules. But a good solution starts with a good conversation. That is why we are looking for a Sales Engineer who understands technology, dares to ask questions and gets to the heart of the matter together with the client.

What you will do.

As a Sales Engineer, you are the first point of contact for potential customers. You translate their challenges into technical solutions together with our engineers. Not as a slick salesman, but as a technical sparring partner.

• Analyse customer requests and convert them into concrete proposals

• Thinking along with customers about their production process and bottlenecks

• Drawing up quotations in cooperation with engineering

• Assisting customers from first contact to tailor-made solution

• Working on long-term relationships rather than quick deals

What we ask of you.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in technical direction (WTB, mechatronics, electrical engineering)
• You can explain technology understandably
• You like customer contact and think along with solutions
• You enjoy working in a team where technology is key
• Experience in a similar position is nice to have, but not a must
