That is why we are looking for a software engineer who likes to help build technology that does what it is supposed to do, without fuss.

What you will do.
As a software engineer, you will program machines and modules that we build and install ourselves. From drafting logic software, designing HMIs, testing and commissioning our solutions.

• PLC programming of customer-specific machines and cobots/robots

• Thinking along in technical feasibility and optimisation

• Collaborate with fellow software engineers, engineering, workshop and project managers

• Supervising delivery and installing / commissioning on-site at home and abroad

• Collaborate on smart solutions that make production smarter, faster and lighter

What we ask of you.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of mechanical engineering or mechatronics

• You have experience with PLC programming or are open to learning this

• You think solution-oriented and practical

• You like technology, but also just doing it

• You like working in an environment where everything moves quickly and everyone is directly approachable

Smart systems start with smart software.

At Van Made, we develop automation solutions that really work. From case packers and palletisers to complete packing lines. And that is only possible if the software is just as reliable as the mechanics. That is why we are looking for a software engineer who enjoys overview, smart solutions and systems that run flawlessly in practice.

What you will do.

You will develop the software that controls our machines and makes them work together. You work in close coordination with our mechanical engineers and fitters and receive direct feedback from the workshop. From drawing up I/O diagrams to on-site testing: you ensure that technology lives.

• Writing and implementing PLC software

• Working with HMI visualisations, controlling motors, sensors, robots and IO

• Thinking along in machine architecture and safety

• Testing, adjusting and sometimes commissioning on site

• Close cooperation with engineering and workshop

What we ask of you.

• MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably electrical engineering, mechatronics or industrial automation
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens TIA, Omron or similar)
• You think in solutions, not in rows of code
• You enjoy consulting with colleagues in the field
• You like smart technology, but also overview and structure
